Help

JFF offers crisis and grief support, and knowledge to empower families and individuals coping with the unresolved loss of a loved one.

Since 2008, we have assisted 45 families in 19 states and Canada who were coping with the disappearance of a loved one.

JFF provides search advice and assistance to find missing persons.

JFF acts as a resource (a guide) to families who are distraught and overwhelmed by their loss.  At a time when families need to be at peak performance, they are disabled with grief and sidelined by a lack of knowledge.

Why do we do this?

The Jon Francis Foundation believes that no loved one should ever be abandoned in the wilderness.

The majority of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. are not required to search for our missing loved ones who are adults. And the public sector is not adequately committed, trained or funded to find missing adults.

Also when adult searches are conducted they are often short, under resourced and unsuccessful- leaving surviving families with feelings of abandonment and unresolved loss.
